Certified Organic Unbleached All Purpose White Flour
Highwood Crossing
Alderside, Alberta
Our Organic Unbleached All-Purpose Flour is freshly milled from organic hard red spring wheat. Both the bran and the germ have been removed leaving the endosperm that is made into the flour. It is enriched with iron, riboflavin, vitamin-D, and niacin. This is the same high protein flour used by professional bakers and produces high, well-textured loaves of bread.
Our organic unbleached all-purpose flour is organic and non-GMO and is a source of iron. Milled in a nut and peanut free environment.

Message from Highwood Crossing about their price increase:
"As you are well aware, the drought we experienced this summer has put an enormous strain on the supply of cereal-grains and oilseeds across the Canadian prairies, and into the United States as well.
Sadly, some farmers had no crops to harvest this fall, and livestock has been turned out in the fields to forage for whatever feed can be salvaged. In other areas, where there are crops to harvest, the yields are significantly reduced due to lack of moisture and higher-than-normal temperatures during the growing season. Extreme climate events in other parts of the world are also negatively impacting crops this year resulting in shortages and a global spike in prices.
In our own region - Foothills County - the Municipal Council declared an “Agricultural State of Emergency” due to the extreme drought conditions here. At our farm near High River, crop yields this year were down over 75% from our normal annual averages."
