Apiaries & Bees for Communities (ABC Bees) is a dynamic honey business. Specializing in honey bee education and outreach, ABC Bees has a focus on natural and treatment-free care of colonies since 2010. ABC Bees aim is to increase resiliency in the beekeeping industry.
ABC Bees’ honey is a mixture of urban and rural honey with 1/3 of their apiary sitting throughout the Calgary river valley, including Heritage Park. These locations are used for Bicycle Tours and Field Days open to the public.
