The Cylindra beet is a popular beet known for its long, cylindrical shape! Cylindra is perfect as a uniform slicing beet, also known as "Butter Slicer". Flesh is very tender and sweet with wonderful texture.
Cylindra is an heirloom cultivar, ideal for pickling and canning. Elongated roots with smooth skin and deep red flesh have a sweet, mild flavor with just the slightest hint of earthiness.
